When Turbulence Comes Keep Pushing

Just the other day my family and I decided to go out tubing Silver Creek (a beautiful creek
bellow Hailey Idaho) and about two-thirds of the way a wicked storm blew in and the peaceful
little creek suddenly got white caps on it.

The rain following out of the sky stung like thousands of little whips were beating us from
above. The wind actually started blowing us backwards and so we got off and began to push
downstream. It was an amazing show of the forces of nature, but we kept pushing and
were able to make it back to the cars.

One would think that it was a horrible experience, but I thought that it was wonderful!
One of my uncles actually said he would never do it again. I had a blast!!! It is all
dependent upon the mindset I guess. To me it was an adventure to be remembered and to my
uncle it was hell. The only real difference was the mindset involved.

That is life. When one’s mindset is right adversity is seen as an opportunity to grow, a
chance for adventure, and makes great memories. Why for others it is a stopping point. They
never try again.

That is the difference between the very successful and those that cost through life giving
up at every trial that comes there way.

Through the turbulent waters of their lives they reach deep inside, push forward, and rejoice
in the experience for growth.

So go out and make it happen. Reach inside and find the personal power within. Create your
own reality despite outside events.

Life is yours so take it and subdue it.

Success is yours for the taking!
