The Personal Power of a Confident Mind-Set
I am getting ready to ask you an interesting and thought-provoking question… Initially, I need you to take note of your thoughts. Now enlighten me, as to what thoughts flood into your head? Would you judge them as upbeat, or pessimistic?
Now let’s pretend that you are walking down the street with these beliefs. Do you think somebody that you chanced into would be able to tell what is on your mind?
The answer is really up to you. But, the answer to my next question can be pretty generic. Although people will not be able to tell you the exact thoughts you are thinking, but they will more or less be able to perceive how you are feeling.
Here’s an additional question. Say you enter a party filled with friends, do they all fall silent as if something terrible has just occurred? Or does everybody perk up like they are waiting for something exciting to take place?
You know the funny part of it all? The answers to these questions all depend on your mind-set.
Personal beliefs and self-confidence are very powerful. They affect your general way of thinking. The mind-set you bring to live reflects on your appearance. You attract that which you really and those around you can see through your facade.
And it doesn’t stop there. Your attitude can also affect those who are around you.
The type of attitude you carry depends on you. It does however have some bearing on those that are around you. Who can resist being happy and positive around those of the like?
Positive thoughts have a substantial effect. They are admittedly invigorating. Plus, the people around the person carrying upbeat views are usually energized by this type of way of thinking and tend to become the same way.
On the other hand those that always have a negative energy tend to attract the same and are surrounded by negative people.
Like attitudes attract…if you are miserable positive people will be repulsed by your presence, as where if you have a positive and confident mind-set you will attract and actually help others to become the same way.
So now is your time to evaluate yourself…of you didn’t like what you found just make a decision to change. Make a decision to change and tap into your personal power inside your subconscious to become the person you want to be.
It all starts with a decision that is followed by powerful and measurable action. Journal your progress and note the changes that are happening and the type of things and friends that you are beginning to attract into your life.
To the perfect you,
Jonathan Burke

Yeah I have always found myself to be a shy type of person and try to avoid people, and my dad always tells me to have more self confidence and that its the power of the mind. Well with the new year around the corner my goal for this year is to be more interactive with others and have more self confidence.
