Here is a little personal story to illustrate my point.

Just the other day I was sitting in a room with friends and family and we started talking about going bald (now of you are bald please don’t take offense). It was funny to me because before I knew it we were actually arguing and fighting over who was the baldest of us. We were trying to prove to each other that we had lost more hair than the rest. We were fighting over who had lost the most hair like it was something awesome!

Now really, people spend good money to prevent balding patterns and obtain hair implants. Do we want to be the one in the group with the least hair on our heads?

Then why were we trying to prove that we had lost the most hair to each other?

It is because we (all of us in the group) have all suffered some type of hair loss.

We wanted to prove that we were the baldest because we we all balding.

I have seen the same thing occur sitting in a line or in a crowded place with people trying to prove that they had less money than the others around them! Since when is being broke something that any of us strive for, but here they were trying to prove that they were the worst off financially!

Here is the point…If we want a certain quality we will be further ahead in obtaining it if we surround ourselves with people that have that quality.

If we want success, surround ourselves with success.

It is pretty simple really…we become like those we associate with the most.

So think about the qualities that you want and set out to surround yourself with people that have those traits. You will be amazed at the rapid transformations in your thoughts and actions.

It is all about following some simple steps and being consistent. Really consistence is the key to your success.

Here are a list of activities that I do on a daily basis to create success in my own business:

1.) Every morning I plan and visualize all of my why’s and goals for the day. I imagine attracting that new powerful associate into my business and the types of individuals that I would like to work with.

2.) Everyday I do some type of activity to improve and develop myself. I read personal development books, journal, watch uplifting movies and apply curriculum that will get me closer to the personal power within. Once that power is tapped I am ready to go onto the next step.

3.) I then delve into my marketing and calling back those who have requested more information about my business opportunity. This is where I have a powerful conversation with those who have responded to my ad to see if they are the type of individual that I am looking to work with. If they are I get them some more info about my opportunity, if not I let them know that I don’t believe they are a fit and move on.

4.) I make sure to have weekly conversations with other leaders in my company to discuss what is working for us and how we can help each other to improve our business and our lives. I also make sure to be on a lot of the training calls provided by other leaders.

5.) I again do the things that I have learned, follow those who’s results exceed my own, and teach others how to duplicate my success.

By following these simple, yet powerful steps, almost anyone can create success in a home based business starting today.
