My usually calm and confident attitude is being taken over by the fact that my wife and I are getting ready to have our first baby ( a little boy ) and she is starting to have contractions.

I didn’t think that this would get to me like this, but I really don’t know what to expect. Sure, others can tell us of their experiences but how will ours go?

I am just praying that all goes well and that my wife and the baby come through this safely.

I probably shouldn’t be blogging at a time like this, but I have to do something to settle my nerves.

I’ll keep you posted on how things develop and when he is born and what we name him.
