Others Can’t Control Your Attitude Or Destiny
Others cannot control the way that we feel or act! I love the immortal words of Marcus Aurelius when he said:
“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”
This is so true. How many times have you been offended or hurt by something that someone did or said that was out of your control but it ruin your mood or day?
The simple truth is that it is all about you and not them! You have the power to control your thoughts and emotions and therefore you can choose not to be hurt or bothered.
Others can hurt themselves by being bitter and acting or speaking harshly, but you have the healing power and ability to forgive and cast our feelings that others send your way!
This is the personal power of positive thinking and taking control of all things in your life!
