Letting Go Before You Drowned

Yesterday my buddy and I were out snorkeling at Lake Pleasant here in Arizona and something happened that got me thinking.

My friend saw an anchor at the bottom of the lake and dove for it, grabbing it and trying to pull it up in about 12 feet of water, but his leg cramped up on the way up and he panicked for a little while. He swam harder and harder but couldn’t reach the surface for the much needed air. The problem is that in his struggle to reach the surface for breath he had forgotten to let go of the anchor!

Well, he did let go before he drowned, but it really got me thinking about things…

How often to we as people hold on to that anchor in life, that belief that keeps us from success, when we are only feet or inches from the surface?

Think about things in your life that keep you from success.

-Negative beliefs that are given you by others

-Lack of action because it might be out of your comfort zone

-Someone else told you that it wouldn’t work and that home businesses are all scams

The list goes on and on. The truth is that if we will just step out, forget the negative opinions of the negative, and let go of those anchors in our lives that suffocate out potential, it is astonishing how quickly goals can be reached.

So let go of that anchor and take the step to become financially free today. Let yourself discover the freedom of the Personal Power within you.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Burke
