What is freedom to you?
To me freedom is living life on my terms as much as possible. It doesn’t mean that my life is perfect and that all my worries are washed away, it is simply being able to take time off when I want time off, do go fishing when I want to fish, and to work when I want to work.
Not to say that there aren’t any bumps in the road, but they are the bumps that I choose.
I have chosen the path of a home based business entrepreneur and that path is mine. I don’t have a job. I chose freedom from a boss back in 2003 when I was laid off from a management position and given one days notice that the branch of the mining operation that I ran had been sold.
That wasn’t freedom and it definitely wasn’t on my terms.
I personally believed that the best gamble was on my own abilities so ever since then I have been self-employed and through the ups and down it has been my choice to work on my terms that has kept me going.
This is freedom to me, so again I ask you…what is freedom to you?
