When I jumped into the home business arena I thought that I was a hot shot mortgage guy that was going to show the leaders in the company how it was done. There was just one problem…it didn’t happen like that.

I wasn’t following the leader. I wasn’t following the simple proven system, I wasn’t seeing the results that I wanted and was getting frustrated. It wasn’t a fun time for me.

Finally I sat down and took a look at myself and then I took a look at the leaders. It hit me that they are keeping it simple, having fun, and making a ton of money doing it.

That my friends is how to become successful. There isn’t any magic dust. There is just keeping it simple, having fun, and following the leader. Their results are duplicatable. That is the where the rubber hits the road.

Now business is fun. I am happier, positive about the future, and full of gratitude to those who were patient and took the time to give me the info and let me figure it out.

So keep it simple and find a leader that will mastermind with you and duplicate their results. Making money is just that simple.

1.) Doubt

When you start a home business opportunity you are fired up and ready to conquer the world. Well then creeps in the doubts. My friend said that those are all scams, I can’t talk to people if I haven’t succeeded yet, I am not a good sales person, what if someone says no to me? These are just to name a few…

The question to ask yourself is this…are other people having success? If they can do it so can you!

So beware of doubt and remind yourself how easy it really is to make an income with your business.

Doubt destroys all success. We get the results that we focus on.

2.) Discouragement

Soon after doubt creeps in you will begin to feel discouragement. All the doubts begin to take root and you begin to feel and become discouraged. You are conquering your own self at this point. Only you can cause discouragement in yourself. Others cannot effect you unless you allow them to. When someone says that they aren’t interested in your business rejoice that you don’t have to deal with all the negative energy and draining questions that they will bring to your team.

3.) Distraction

After you let doubt and discouragement into your life you will begin to get distracted. You will loose focus and begin to look towards supposed “guru’s” that will feed on your fears and lull you into the idea that if you buy their product or use their service the clouds of success will open up and your business will blossom. Beware of this because it is making it too hard and removing your focus from you and your business. Thus will keep you from making sales and money.

Make it simple! Success is not hard and chances are you already have all the training you need in your current company infrastructure. Keep it simple and focused!

4.) Lack of Dilligence

If you don’t get back to the basics and make it simple you will not be diligently working in bringing sales and individuals into your business. At this point you will really not have an opportunity at all, nor will you be able to help others to come into your business because you have been defeated. At this point you need to stop and refocus or you can forget having any large measure of success.

Now is the time to start from the begining and make it simple and fun. This is when success will come.

5.) Disbelief

If you continue to follow the path of the 5 D’s you will disbelieve in your home business opportunity so much that you will hate it. You have been defeated at this point. You cannot bring others into something that you have no belief in yourself. People can feel the energy that comes off of you and they will run from you as if you haven’t showered for months at this point. This is the level where people get so bitter that they start going and posting on the scam sites, crying that they have been taken, when deep inside they know that others have made it and are bitter because they couldn’t.

It comes down to the individual. No one likes to admit that they failed because of their own personal mistakes.

So those are the 5 D’s that I would encourage you to avoid like the pleague. Again, keep it simple and keep it fun!

Today I was contemplating why some do so well in a home business opportunity while others struggle. You can take two individuals that are seemingly doing the same thing, yet one seems to experience a greater level of success.

Why is that? I have deduced it to the power of focusing on the goal. Not just having a goal, or an idea of a goal, but feeling the accomplishment of achieving it before you do. Knowing exactly what you want to the tiniest details. This causes much synergy. It takes effort and energy to work out the exact details of your goals but it is worth it.

You have to focus on your goals and ends as if they are already upon you.

Consider the power of focused light. Light funneled through a magnifying glass creates massive heat, even enough to cause a fire. It is the same with focusing on our goals and our thoughts till they become our realities.

I remember when I was a little kid and found that I could cause leaves and dry grass to smoke and even burn by focusing the power of the suns rays through an ordinary magnifying glass.

Imagine what kind of power our thoughts can make through focused thought.

This is a piece of the puzzle that is one of the roots of all successes.

To be successful we need to learn to focus like a laser beam on our goals, our end results and act until we receive what it is we want. Our thoughts literally control the outcomes of our lives weather we want them to or not.

Therefore, it is imperative that we watch out thoughts and not just our words. If we speak of success and goals without considering them with concentrated and dedicated thoughts than I would say that we are much less effective than we ever could be.

So let’s make a goal together to put more focused energy into our thoughts in our lives and in out home business opportunities and watch our fire of success grow into a raging furnace in which our success through personal power is achieved.

In the day of a Social Internet the video is ruler. The online users of now are fast pace and really don’t desire to put in the time or effort read your ad copy unless it is really good. Place that same ad copy into video form and your probability of them stopping and viewing are much better. The regular visitor stays on a text website for 15 to 30 seconds as where in contrast studies show that people stay on YouTube for an standard of 15 minutes. To me that says it all! This is the age of video.

What do you put on a video? Getting started you just prepare a video analysis of the product or service that you are trying to advertise. Get on there and show how it works with a screen capture software or just film yourself talking about the system on a webcam. It is all good. Now eventually you are going to need to show verification that the product or service is working. Each time you have a accomplishment document it on video and place it onto the internet. Do this over and over until you brand yourself as a leader and the sells start to pour in!

Now that you have made your video I recommend going to youtube and other video sites and setting up free accounts. From there you can start getting your videos out there and seeing the rewards of your labors. This is power. Not only does this acquire you traffic from the video but it also gets you up there in the Search Engine Rankings.

Before you post your video you need to be certain that your keywords are in your title, description and tags. You also need to make certainthat at the very top of your description is your URL in the form of yoururl/something.

Unless you insert your URL starting with http:// you will not get any traffic to your site.

To obtain an idea for your title, description and tags I suggest that you go to YouTube and see some videos that are getting high traffic and look at their info and see what they did to get it right and mimic them. Don’t just copy them but use it as an concept.

We had an amazing time with friends and family but there is no place like home. On the drive down I had a lot of time to ponder life and to realize more and more that life is literally what we make it.

The rain following out of the sky stung like thousands of little whips were beating us from
above. The wind actually started blowing us backwards and so we got off and began to push
downstream. It was an amazing show of the forces of nature, but we kept pushing and
were able to make it back to the cars.

One would think that it was a horrible experience, but I thought that it was wonderful!
One of my uncles actually said he would never do it again. I had a blast!!! It is all
dependent upon the mindset I guess. To me it was an adventure to be remembered and to my
uncle it was hell. The only real difference was the mindset involved.

That is life. When one’s mindset is right adversity is seen as an opportunity to grow, a
chance for adventure, and makes great memories. Why for others it is a stopping point. They
never try again.

That is the difference between the very successful and those that cost through life giving
up at every trial that comes there way.

Through the turbulent waters of their lives they reach deep inside, push forward, and rejoice
in the experience for growth.

So go out and make it happen. Reach inside and find the personal power within. Create your
own reality despite outside events.

In the movie Dumbledore gave Harry an assignment to get a memory out of a professor by the name of Horace Slughorn. Today I went into a Quick Trip C-store to get a soda from the fountain and the Mountain Dew said “out of service” so nobody was even trying it.

If you’ve ever been to a QT the lines for fountain drinks can get fairly long so you get to watch people and hear conversations. One person said, “I wanted the Mountain Dew” but ended up settling for some other type.

That is when it happened…a guy just walked up next to me, grabbed a cup, filled up with Mountain Dew and we both finished and walked away at the same time.

Well, so what…it got me thinking about how the littlest thing can deter people from what they really want in life!

I don’t know how many people I have heard say the income opportunities from home never work. That home businesses are all scams.

Have they really tried one? If they have, did they let the first little “out of service” sign throw them off and give up?

If anybody can make it don’t you think that you can too?

I know that if you believe you can that you can!
